About

Dane Rose was born on a Louisiana kitchen table to two aspiring hippies who set out to build passive solar homes in Upstate New York around the Hawthorn valley Waldorf school and BioDynamic farm. From there he moved with his family to England, continuing his Waldorf education until the family moved first to the Greek Island of Cyprus and then to the Findhorn community in Scotland, and subsequently to Vancouver, Canada.

At seventeen he left home to start a landscape design and build firm, returning from Canada to Whidbey Island, Washington and later to Marin County, CA, where he constructed homes and gardens for thirty years.

While in Marin he wrote and published ten books on landscape design, construction, well-being, best practices in relationships and the pursuit of happiness. During this same period he hosted and facilitated fifty workshops on a variety of topics related to healthy relationships, high sensitivity, sexuality and creating conscious fun.

After traveling and experiencing a major traumatic betrayal, resulting in PTSD, he formed four non-profits and began donating most of his time and money to their mission of reducing trauma and learning how to have the highest positive impact with the least amount of energy. Dane is a sculptor, chef, poet, philosopher and generally curious human beings who enjoy deep dives with other artists, sensitives and healers that serve their ideals of making the world a better place.
